Our Environment

The City is responsible for the restoration, enhancement and protection of the environment.  We provide a variety of biodiversity, natural areas, climate change and sustainability programs while undertaking a range of coastal protection projects and managing the Community Nursery. We also provide expert advice into the environmental components of infrastructure planning including the design and delivery of major projects and the development and implementation of the Coastal Hazard Risk Management Adaptation Plan (CHRMAP).

To keep up to date on all the latest environment and sustainability news check out the City's quarterly newsletter The Leaf'let.
